Alvin Community College’s FINZ Esports Call of Duty Team Advances to Nationals
ACC's Call of Duty: 4 v 4 team advanced to the playoffs after finishing 3rd in their region. ACC defeated Barton Community College in the first round, avenging a loss from earlier in the season by a score of 3-1. ACC then played the defending National Champions, Laredo College for seeding purposes, but lost. ACC will still be advancing to Nationals and is currently ranked 5th in the Nation for NJCAAE Call of Duty 4 v 4.
This victory equals a successful first season for Team Captain Jaime Castillo Jr. (ALPHA), and his teammates Andrew Cortez (Holymexican), Oscar Hinojosa (oDxThrone) and Milo Cantu (Robo_Cash).
ACC will play the quarterfinal round of the playoffs on April 15th, against Central Community College from Columbus Nebraska.
